MILLS and MOLES
Mills and moles. They sound similar and they can do similar things. Mills and moles both alter terrain. The Netherlands has used mills in the past to drain away water and create new land. Moles alter land in a completely different way. They dig through golf courts, yards, fields, and gardens. They’re not malicious, they’re just constantly expanding and renovating their underground homes. Can we blame the moles for doing that? When a lot of Dutch people wouldn’t live in their homes without massive alterations to the landscape either?
